Development and cloud

Custom development and cloud operations that keep the system running.

A revenue system is production software. It has integrations that break, dependencies that age, credentials that rotate, and a security posture your customers now audit. Someone has to own that, or the measurement quietly stops being true.

Produces: A system that stays running

Stage: Operate

Revenue-system outcome

Infrastructure and integrations that keep producing trustworthy data after the build is finished.

This is the operate stage. Attribution reporting is only as reliable as the integrations feeding it, which means monitoring the data pipeline is a measurement responsibility, not just an IT one.

When this is the constraint

Signals that point here.

  • 01

An integration broke and nobody noticed.

Leads stopped reaching the CRM for weeks. The first signal was a sales manager asking why the pipeline looked light.

  • 02

    Nobody owns the infrastructure.

The hosting account belongs to a former employee or a former agency, and changes require an archaeology project first.

  • 03

    Security questionnaires cannot be answered.

Customers ask about hosting, access control, dependency management, and subprocessors. Nobody can answer, and the deal stalls.

  • 04

Off-the-shelf does not fit the process.

Configuration, quoting, or fulfilment logic is specific enough that a plugin cannot express it without distorting the process.

Scope

What is included.

Custom development

Application work where the commercial process cannot be expressed in configuration: configurators, quoting logic, portals, and internal tools.

Integrations

Connections between website, ecommerce, CRM, ERP, and reporting, built on supported APIs with error handling and alerting.

AWS management

Hosting architecture, environments, deployment, backups, cost review, and access control on infrastructure you own.

Performance and reliability

Uptime and response monitoring, capacity planning, and alerting that reaches a person who can act on it.

Security

Dependency currency, transport and header configuration, least-privilege access, credential rotation, and documented practice for diligence responses.

Ongoing technical operations

A maintained patch and release cadence with a named owner, rather than work that happens only when something visibly breaks.

Boundaries

What this does not cover.

  • Public-facing infrastructure only. No controlled, classified, or regulated systems.
  • Cloud consumption is billed by the provider to the client on client-owned accounts.
  • Byer Co holds no security clearance and no CMMC assessment, and does not represent otherwise.

Capabilities are scoped from assessment findings and sequenced so that measurement is unblocked first. Buying this work in isolation, ahead of the layer it depends on, is the most common way a technical marketing budget produces activity without evidence.

System Discovery

Is this the constraint, or a symptom of one?

A Revenue System Discovery identifies where demand, digital infrastructure, CRM data, and sales reporting are disconnected, and which layer to fix first.
