Find the gaps between marketing activity and revenue.
This is a paid commercial and technical diagnosis, not a free agency audit. It traces real records from first search through the CRM to closed business, and reports where the path breaks, with the evidence attached.
Investment: $7,500 to $12,500
Output: Findings // 90-day plan // 12-month roadmap
Commissioned when the reporting no longer answers the question.
- Leadership lacks confidence in marketing return on investment
- CRM source data is incomplete
- Website leads are not consistently tracked
- Sales and marketing disagree about lead quality
- Multiple agencies or internal teams operate independently
- A major website, CRM, or marketing investment is being considered
What is evaluated.
- Buyer journey
- Website and conversion paths
- SEO and search demand
- Paid media
- Content
- CRM configuration
- Lead routing
- Attribution
- Pipeline hygiene
- Analytics
- Performance and security
Each area is examined for how it connects to the next one. A campaign that performs well and a CRM that is well configured can still produce unusable reporting if nothing carries source data across the boundary between them.
What you receive.
Revenue-system map
A single diagram of how demand, digital experiences, capture, CRM, and reporting currently connect, including every point where data is lost.
Findings and evidence
Each finding is tied to the specific record, report, or configuration that demonstrates it, so conclusions can be checked rather than taken on faith.
Opportunity priorities
Findings ranked by revenue impact against implementation cost, so the first quarter of work is not chosen by whoever argues loudest.
Technical recommendations
Platform, integration, tracking, and performance recommendations written for the people who will implement them.
90-day action plan
The sequence of work that closes the highest-value gaps first, with owners and dependencies identified.
12-month roadmap
How the remaining work phases across the year, including what should wait until measurement is trustworthy.
Executive presentation
A working session with leadership to walk the findings, the plan, and the decisions that require an executive owner.
How the assessment runs.
- 01
Discovery and data access
Establish read access to analytics, advertising, the website, the ecommerce platform, and the CRM.
- 02
Stakeholder interviews
Interview marketing, sales, and leadership separately. Where their accounts disagree is usually where the system is broken.
- 03
Technical and commercial analysis
Trace real records end to end, from search query and campaign through form or cart, into the CRM, and out to the reported result.
- 04
Roadmap development
Convert findings into a prioritized 90-day plan and a 12-month roadmap with realistic sequencing.
- 05
Executive findings presentation
Present the revenue-system map, the evidence, and the recommended sequence to the leadership team.
$7,500 to $12,500
The range reflects the size of the system being examined, not the length of the report. A single website with one CRM pipeline sits at the lower end. Multiple business units, markets, and platforms sit at the upper end because there are more connections to trace.
Final scope and price are confirmed after a discovery call, before any engagement letter is issued.
What affects the final price
- Number of websites
- Number of business units
- CRM complexity
- Ecommerce
- Geographic markets
- Available data
Frequently asked questions
Why is the assessment paid?
A free audit is a sales document. This is a commercial and technical diagnosis that requires access to real systems, interviews with your team, and record-level analysis. Charging for it is what allows the findings to be inconvenient.
Do we have to continue with Byer Co afterward?
No. The deliverables are written so that your internal team or another vendor can execute the plan. Many clients do continue, but the assessment is a complete product on its own.
How long does it take?
Most assessments run several weeks from data access to the executive presentation. The main variable is how quickly system access and stakeholder time can be scheduled.
What if our data is a mess?
That is a finding, not a disqualifier. Incomplete historical tagging and inconsistent CRM hygiene are among the most common reasons companies cannot connect marketing spend to revenue.
Request a Revenue System Assessment.
Tell us how many websites, business units, and CRM pipelines are in scope, and what leadership is currently unable to answer. We will confirm fit and scope on a discovery call before quoting.

Request an Assessment
Include your website, CRM, and the reporting question you cannot currently answer.
Start with a Revenue System Discovery.
A discovery call establishes whether an assessment is the right next step, or whether a narrower piece of work would answer the question faster.
